Tokyo Designer’s Week Container Exhibition 2007 OCTOBER 31 - NOVEMBER 4, 2007 Set during Tokyo Designerís Week, the largest and most influential design event in Japan, this interactive graphical installation was designed by Tom Tor and MEF for Teraoka Seiko. The container exhibition is an empty 40 ft cargo container space which TT and MEF transformed into an exhibition site. Using customized software and sophisticated programming and hardware, an exhibitorís weight is recorded as one stands on the weight scale which will translate into motion graphics onto a screen through the use of a projector. The graphics react according to the personís weight as various hues of color display with particle animations that reflects the theme that has been set forth by TDW called “LOVE”.
